The ratio of the registered capital and total investment for an EJV, a CJV or a WFOE should comply with the following provisions: Where the total amount of investment is below three million US Dollars (US$3,000,000) (inclusive), the registered capital should at least account for 7/10 of the total amount of investment; Where the total amount of investment is between three million US Dollars (US$3,000,000) and ten million US Dollars (US$10,000,000) (inclusive), the registered capital should account for at least a half of the total amount of investment; Where the total amount of investment is between ten million US Dollars (US$10,000,000) and thirty million US Dollars (US$30,000,000) (inclusive), the registered capital should account for at least 2/5 of the total amount of investment; Where the total amount of investment is more than thirty million US Dollars (US$30,000,000), the registered capital should at least account for 1/3 of the total amount of investment.
